Christmas Atmosphere in the Residences

From 6 to 20 December 2025

In December, the gardens of the Royal Residences of Savoy are transformed into places of creativity and encounter, where nature and Christmas traditions come together to create a special experience.

I Christmas wreath workshops, curated by the gardeners of the Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude (Consortium of Royal Residences of Savoy) – professionals who maintain and enhance the parks and gardens of some of Piedmont's most fascinating historic residences on a daily basis – become a moment of sharing and storytelling. Guided by their experience, participants will create garlands and decorations inspired by the cycle of the seasons, using natural materials gathered directly from the royal gardens.

Leaves, branches, berries and fruits thus become living elements of sustainable and evocative creations, capable of conjuring up scents, colours and textures that reveal the beauty of parks even in the winter months.
An opportunity to learn about the profession of gardener, guardian of ancient knowledge that combines technique, respect for the environment and love for the landscape.

In a convivial and festive atmosphere, adults and children aged 10 and above They will rediscover the pleasure of working with their hands, learn to recognise plant essences and take home their own creation.

A different way to experience Christmas, immersed in nature and history, among ancient crafts and gestures that tell the story of the art of caring.

The initiative is part of the activities promoted by the Consortium, in collaboration with Musei Reali Torino, Residenze Reali Sabaude and the associations of the individual residences, to offer the public an authentic and sustainable experience during the Christmas period.

Activities for adults and children (aged 10 and above).
Limited enrolment (max. 20 people) with reservation required and generous donation.
