Forte Bramafam's 2026 season kicks off

The Bramafam Fort Museum, an extraordinary witness to the Western Alps and military history, officially announces the opening calendar for the 2026 season. Starting from 2 June until 1 November 2026, the doors of the majestic fortress will once again open to welcome tourists, historians and enthusiasts, guided by the evocative payoff: “We tell the great story through those who lived it”.

The Museum in Motion: 700 images come back to life

The big news for the 2026 season is the exhibition project “The Museum in Motion”. An unprecedented multimedia and visual journey in which well 700 historical images literally come to life, offering visitors an immersive and dynamic journey through time through films, period details and glimpses of the past.

Calendar of Openings 2026

In order to allow everyone to better plan their ascent of the fort, the Association for the Study of Military History and Architecture has defined the following access modes:

• June, September and October: Open every Sunday.
• July: Open every Saturday and Sunday.
• August: Open every day, for the entire month.
• End of season: Until Sunday 1 November.

Visiting hours: from 10:00 to 18:30. (Please note: last permitted entry is at 5 p.m.).

An excellence of the territory

The initiative is part of the prestigious Network of Fortifications and in the Historic Mountain Routes, actively promoted by the Piedmont Region, Turismo Torino e Provincia and the Bardonecchia Municipality.
