The exhibition In-Definite Journey offers an intense and engaging immersion into the artistic journey of Dimitri Milesi, in art DIMA, an artist from Bergamo known for his pictorial and spiritual sensitivity. Curated by the Dr Francesca Provetti and hosted at the MAS - Milan Museum of Art and ScienceThe exhibition allows us to explore the complex expressive universe of an author who transforms his personal experience into visual and narrative art. The works on display reflect the transition from thesymbolic abstraction to an essential and powerful figuration, with references to the Japanese calligraphyto theminimalist art and the legacy of masters such as Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Matisse, Klimt and Egon Schiele.
DIMA investigates the relationship between sign e meaningbringing to canvas and sculpture a poetics that combines restlessness and essentiality, energy e reflection. The artist proposes an accessible art, with direct language, where each work becomes mirror of interiority human and its need for knowledge, order and beauty. The exhibition also features written texts that accompany the painting in an evolutionary process that closes the expressive circle: from sign to word.
A valuable opportunity to get to know an artist who has made his own fragility a creative forcetransforming pain into beauty and the complexity of living into evocative and poetic forms.
