Starting with the case of the film factory that was established in Borgata Ceronda in 1912, the exhibition relates the motivations of those who invested in the fledgling film industry at the beginning of the 20th century, with those of the public who decreed its immediate success, and then extends to cultural consumption and its influence on forms of representation, particularly of young people, between the beginning of the 20th century and the post-World War II period.
