Toni Thorimbert. Women in view

At the Project Room by ROOM, opens an exhibition of profound emotional and stylistic intensity dedicated to Toni Thorimbert. The exhibition, entitled Women in view, is the brainchild of Luca Beatrice and is edited by Walter Guadagnini, as a heartfelt tribute to his prematurely deceased friend. The exhibition project brings together a selection of about sixty photographs tracing more than 30 years of the famous photographer's career Italian-Swiss, focusing on the female figure in all its facets.

The exhibition moves fluidly between official portraits, private snapshots e fashion photography, demonstrating Thorimbert's ability to capture the essence of the subject beyond the surface of the image. In the exhibition known figures of culture and entertainment alongside ordinary women, all united by an aesthetic research that enhances the presence and theidentity. The route revolves around two pivotal, deeply symbolic images: the portraits of the mother and the daughter of the author. These shots summarise the beating heart of the project, transforming the photographic investigation into an autobiographical and universal tale. Through the search for beauty, Thorimbert narrates his own existence and his view of the world, celebrating the face and the body female as custodians of stories and a timeless visual memory, rooted in the vibrant atmosphere of Milan and beyond.
