To the women who are not allowed to fulfil their dreams!

Villa Carlotta once again confirms itself as reference point for contemporary artpresenting a deeply evocative and meaningful project signed by Maria Dompè. The exhibition proposes two environmental interventions developing in a intense dialogue with the museum space and its historic park: an installation ephemeral set up in the plaster hall and a work permanent located in the garden, in the area bordering the forest.

Both works are inspired by the condition of the women who have been prevented from realising their dreamsand pay tribute to Charlotte of Prussiayoung owner of the villa, who died prematurely. The intervention is part of the larger redevelopment project "A step into the park, a step into the future"financed under the PNRR and aimed at enhancing the identity of places through the rediscovery of the historic parks and gardens.

The artistic route is curated by Elena Di Raddowith the contribution of Livia Crispolti and its students from the Textile culture of the Brera Academy, the coordination of Maria Angela Previtera and the cooperation of gardeners of Villa Carlotta. A choral initiative that weaves art, memory and natureoffering a profound reflection on denied identities and the regenerative potential of environmental art.
