Temporary exhibition
The Shape of Human Values by Maurice Benayoun
MEET Digital Culture Centre - Milan (MI)
From Thursday 29.10.2026 to Sunday 31 January 2027
The Shape of Human Values by Maurice Benayounpioneer of New Media Art, is an innovative exhibition that combines neuroscience, art e blockchain to investigate how we perceive, represent and exchange human values as fundamental as Love, Peace e Power. With this project, the MEET Digital Culture Centre by Milan becomes one of the final stages of Value of Values, the research project launched by the artist in 2016, which has involved cities all over the world. A Milan This marks the culmination of ten years of experimentation, offering the public a synthesis of an in-depth exploration of the human mind, capturing not only the sensibility of the individual but also that of the international communities.
At the heart of the exhibition is the interactive installation Neuro-Design Station: the visitor wears a EEG helmet which reads the brain waves and, by the power of his mind alone, shapes a 3D shape which represents a human value, subsequently recorded on blockchain. The entire exhibition itinerary branches out from this core: the values created fuel the Value Trading Rooma real stock market in which the creations compete against one another, before being catalogued in the Periodic Table of Values. Conceptual abstraction then takes on a tangible form: the’artificial intelligence reworks the forms of values by converting them into 2D prints e 3D sculptures. Finally, the work featured in the Immersive Hall shows us how human values are perceived globally, providing us with a dynamic map of value-based priorities, the tensions and aspirations of the present.
