Temporary exhibition
The Beauty of Chaos
House of the Green Count - Rivoli (TO)
includedFrom Friday 4 September 2026 to Sunday 27.09.2026
The exhibition brings together the artistic careers of Diego Scursatone e Giuseppe Adornetto, offering a comparison between two distinct ways of observing and depicting urban space. On the one hand, the city as it is physically experienced and traversed along its streets; on the other, an imagined reality, constructed through colour and an almost musical organisation of architecture. The title encapsulates a beauty that emerges from the complexity of the urban landscape, where chaos becomes a vital energy and a layering of symbols, stories and colours.
The works draw inspiration from the literary reference to The Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino and a deep connection with music. If Giuseppe Adornetto He creates imaginary urban scenes in which colour creates rhythm and harmony — influenced by composers such as Bach, Handel e Puccini —, Diego Scursatone runs through the suburbs of Europe and North Africa, from the Finland at Morocco, depicting complex landscapes characterised by light, tangles of cables and memory, set to a soundtrack by artists such as Pink Floyd e Nine Inch Nails.
The exhibition route at the House of the Green Count a Rivoli It brings together paintings, catalogues, travel journals and documentary material.
