SuperRospi at court

In the prestigious halls of the The apartments of Princesses Maria Clotilde and Maria Letizia, a playful and surprising exhibition project comes to life, designed to interweave in a novel way art, history e fantasy. The Savoy residence becomes the setting for a full-scale, widespread treasure hunt, guiding visitors on an original visual adventure curated by Simona Mogliasso.

The ideal protagonist of the narrative is the king Victor Emmanuel II, a key historical figure who made the Moncalieri Castle one of his favourite residences. The artist’s works revolve around his figure Salvatore Liistro: nine superheroes and a Carabiniere, a symbol of our times, take on the unusual role of guardians of this magical tale. The rigid historical framework thus meets the world of fantasy, challenging the audience to discover, room by room, the sculptures and creations that have been transformed into irresistible frogs with superpowers.

The initiative, presented as part of the festival Art in the City – Paratissima 2026, pays special attention to families and younger visitors. In fact, there is an interactive mission for little girls and boys: at the entrance, they will receive the Passport of the Hero of the Pond, a fun activity to stamp and complete whilst exploring the historic house and spotting all the SuperRospi hidden in real-world environments.
