From Bohemian Paris to the frenzy of Tokyo, from the lights of New York to the evocative spaces of Moscow e VeniceMeltzeid was able to develop a unique painting style, made up of brushstrokes 'liquid' and luminousthat transform the everyday into a visual narrative. Objects, faces, landscapes, classic cars e reflections become fragments of memory suspended in time, narrated with emotional intensity and refined technique.
Edited by Marco Marzi e Stefano PascheroThe exhibition offers an immersive journey that takes the visitor on a discovery of the artist's stylistic evolutions, from the early works from the 1960s up to the most recent productions. There is no shortage of special events, including guided tours with the artist, public dialogues in the form of podcasts e educational activities for schoolsmaking the exhibition experience interactive and participatory.
Painted Stories invites the slow and conscious reflectionoffering an immersion in the beauty of detailwithin the ancient walls of a place steeped in history.
