The exhibition Paper Scenographies. The theatrical collages of Eugenio Guglielminetti presents forty works selected from the scenic collections held in Alfieri Palaceperformed by Eugenio Guglielminetti between the years Sixties and Seventies. These are collage and mixed-media drawings - ink, paper, various materials - conceived as preparatory studies for performances of classical and contemporary prosein a period marked by intense transformations of the theatre scene, between interpretive tradition and visual experimentation.

The works on display bear witness to thescenic imagination of Guglielminetti, capable of translating into images evocative theatrical settings, dense with symbolism and creativity, designed for companies of actors with a strong charisma and artistic depth. Each collage represents a window on the international theatre literatureproposing an essential and visionary look at the scenic spaces. The exhibition route extends the experience of the visit to the underground museum, where the wooden models originals, offering a comprehensive reading of the artist's work between theatre, visual art and architecture of the stage space.

Taking care of the set-up are Marida Faussone e Giuseppe Orlandiwith a route designed to enhance the value historical and creative of the works, emphasising the dialogue between art and dramaturgy.
