Promptitude

Promptitude marks the debut in the visual arts by Jean-Michel Jarrepioneer of electronic music and iconic figure on the international cultural scene. This exhibition, staged at the MEET Digital Culture Centre in Milan, is an immersive journey into the hybridisation between human creativity e artificial intelligencea natural extension of the multidisciplinary approach that has always characterised Jarre's work.

Via poetic prompts - short texts similar to haiku - the artist stimulates artificial intelligence to generate visionary images: hybrid creaturessuspended between the organic and mechanical worlds, embodying a profound aesthetic and conceptual tension. But the innovation does not stop there: Jarre then reverses the process, asking the machine to reinterpret the images generated in new prompts, creating a circular creative dialogue.

The exhibition is enriched by EŌN, one generative sound composition infinite, accompanying visitors in a unique, ever-changing immersive experience. The project questions the relationship between human time e technological timeproposing a profound confrontation between contemplative slowness and algorithmic speed.
