The Gran Paradiso National Park and the Fortress of Bard collaborate to create Beyond the shotan exhibition that goes beyond the mere beauty of the image, offering a profound reflection on theethics of nature photography. The exhibition, set up in the Fortress Stablesaccompanies the visitor on an immersive journey that questions not only the moment of the shot, but also everything that precedes and follows it.
Via over 20 images in large and medium format, multimedia installations, interactive panels e emotional videosthe fragile balance of thealpine ecosystemhighlighting the consequences of often underestimated human behaviour.

The project aims to raise awareness of the importance of a respectful approach to nature, highlighting the vulnerability of the wildlife and the complex relationships between flora, fauna and man. An interactive panel reveals the most delicate months for certain mountain species, while one of the videos guides the visitor towards a renewed connection with nature.
A unique opportunity to recognise the role that each of us has within an ecological network that understands and empowers us. Every gesture, every shot, every choice leaves a mark.
