An extraordinary journey into the depths of time and prehistoric oceans comes to life in the exhibition Lost oceans. Sea giants at the time of the dinosaursan immersive and spectacular experience that takes place at the Kosmos Museum in Paviain collaboration with PaleoAquarium. Visitors will be able to experience close encounters with giant sea creatures that have inhabited our planet between 285 and 66 million years agowell before the arrival of whales and dolphins.
The exhibition is developed through life-size models, 3D reconstructions, fossil casts e multimedia workstationsoffering a unique opportunity to learn about the evolution of aquatic vertebrates. Among the most spectacular protagonists are an imposing Liopreurodon and the front section of a Tylosaurusnext to an atmospheric diorama of the triassic seas with notosaurs, placodonts, myxosaurs and ceratites.
The experience is enriched by interactive activities and a rich educational programme by ADMaiorawith guided tours, workshops for schools, family games, themed birthdays and museum nights. There will also be meetings with renowned palaeontologists such as Federico Fanti e Cristiano Dal Sassowho will accompany the public to discover the secrets of the Mesozoic ecosystems.
