The Como Silk Museumheart of the Como textile tradition and the only institution in the world capable of narrating the complete process of silk production, presents the exhibition Divine Fashion. This exhibition project celebrates the divaa timeless icon of style, elegance and expressive power. The dress, the absolute protagonist, is told as narrative and iconographic devicecapable of transforming the diva into living work of art.

In a thematic and immersive display, visitors can admire haute couture creations, sketches, author's photographs e contemporary paintings. On show are masterpieces such as the Tanagra by Rosa Genoni, a dress by Emilio Schubertha creation of the American costume designer Irene Lentza model of Biki for Maria Callas and a suit designed by Antonio Riva for Ornella Vanoni at Sanremo 2018. Among the most precious pieces, a selection of 28 original sketches by Cristobal Balenciagaexhibited for the first time.

Alongside these, designer fabrics and scarves Gianni Versace, models of Valentino e Yves Saint Laurent recount the evolution of the diva over time. The itinerary is enriched by shots of Giovanni Gastel, Elio Luxardoand works by the artist Luca Gandola. The exhibition is made possible through collaboration with historical archives, fashion houses and private collectors.

A programme of side events deepens the themes of the exhibition with workshops, workshop, guided tours, round tables e training activities.
