How much do we really know about our brains? How do they change over the course of our lives? What role do emotions, the sensesthe sleep and the reports with others? From the 31 October at 29 November 2026, the OGR Turin are characterised by an extraordinary interactive exhibition conceived by Eureka, the Finnish Science Centre, which invites the public to explore the mechanisms of mind through an engaging journey featuring games, experiments and activities to enjoy together.
Designed for visitors of all ages Capable of engaging even the youngest visitors, the exhibition focuses on curiosity, participation and interaction. At the entrance, each group is given a “portable brain”, a tech key that grants access to the various installations and which evolves as the programme progresses, guiding participants on their journey of discovery. Moving, relaxing, devoting oneself to artistic and craft activities, playing in a band, dancing and solving puzzles: the project uses a variety of experiences to help the audience understand how the nervous system works. The journey explores fundamental themes such as the structure and the brain functions, demonstrating how the physical, cognitive and relational dimensions are all part of the same experience. Many activities are designed to be undertaken in a group, emphasising the collaboration and turning the visit into an opportunity for discussion.
The exhibition is further enriched by the poems of the writer Laura Ruohonen, translated into Italian by Irene Sorrentino, which interweave rigorous scientific languages, creativity and imagination to offer a unique and poetic perspective on the complexity of the human experience and on the value of knowledge contemporary science.
