Marvel. Journey through the art of Ezio Gribaudo

The exhibition invites you to explore the extraordinary creative journey of Ezio Gribaudo, illustrious artist and Turin art publisher who, throughout his prolific career, has been able to experiment with multiple materials and techniques, skilfully ranging between graphics, sculpture e painting. The exhibition is an opening tribute to the 60th anniversary celebrations of the XXXIII Venice Art Biennale, prestigious context that in 1966 consecrated him as the best Italian graphic artist.

The exhibition route is harmoniously intertwined with the historical heritage of the Savoy residence, outlining an evocative tale dedicated to the theme of the journey, suspended between geography e fantasy. Within the Theatres of Memory, visitors can immerse themselves in a staging of images and memories that trace the artist's international encounters and experiences, from Turin towards the’Europe, the China and theEgypt. In the’The King's Apartment, Gribaudo's work dialogues with the city's monuments, portraits of European queens and the’exoticism of the precious Chinese cabinets of the Villa. Continuing in the’The Queen's Apartment, emerges a imaginary world populated by dinosaurs, animals, shells and the iconic wooden puppet, Pinocchio. This adventure to discover a universe of symbols reveals the artist's deep interest in the’childhood and the game, as universal metaphors for experiencing the world.
