Luccicance

La Zegna Foundation presents an exhibition project by Chiara Camoni specially designed for the spaces of Zegna House a Trivero Valdilana, edited by Ilaria Bonacossa. The exhibition develops in close connection with the surrounding area, taking the form of a real habitable landscape in which traditional and experimental practices such as the sculpture, the weaving and the ceramics blend harmoniously with the natural matter.

The artistic research of Chiara Camoni is deeply linked to the material memory of the place and the landscape of the’Oasi Zegna. Active and living elements of the territory, such as lands, minerals, vegetable fibres e yarns, directly enter into the constitution of the works, generating a deep and continuous dialogue between the material culture, environment and the artistic practice. This initiative is part of the broader vision promoted by ZEGNART, framework that unites the brand's artistic activities based on the idea that the’art, the manufacture, the nature and the territory are part of a single cultural identity. The experience of the exhibition invites a slow transformation, a device for listening to materials and recognising the complex relationships that connect stories, bodies and the natural environment.
