Insurrections. Photographs of a protest

Under the artistic direction of Alessandro Bulgini, Flashback Habitat Ecosystem for Contemporary Cultures opens Insurrections. Photographs of a protestthree ways of making and telling revolutions and protests in a single exhibition.

The protagonists of the tripersonal are Chris Suspect with Path to Insurrection, a project curated by Jacopo Buranelli; Enrico Gili with Yellow Movement, edited by Patrizia Bottallo e Angelo Quattrocchi with WOUNDED KNEE Indians to the rescue, edited by Lapo Simeoni. The layout of the exhibition has been designed in alternating rooms so that the three stories contaminate each other to form a more complex and multifaceted narrative.

From Chris Suspect's street photography documenting the political protests on Capitol Hill, to Enrico Gili's peaceful revolution of the yellow umbrellas in Hong Kong, to the resistance of the American Indians in the 1970s recounted by Angelo Quattrocchi: an exhibition that thus becomes a stimulus for important reflections on one's responsibilities as a member of a community.
