Inge Morath

The Saint-Bénin Centre in Aosta hosts an exhibition dedicated to Inge Morathfirst photographer to be admitted to the agency Magnum Photos. Edited by Brigitte Blüml-Kaindl, Kurt Kaindl e Daria Joriozexposure, Inge Morath. Photography is a personal matter, presents over 150 images and original documents, tracing the artist's professional and human journey.

Morath, known for her travel reports and ability to capture the depth of subjects, has worked with prestigious magazines such as Life, Paris Match e Vogue. The exhibition explores his personal approach to photography, with thematic sections ranging from his first shots to Venice in 1955 to reportages made in countries such as Spain, Iran e China. Two new sections, never exhibited before in Italy, include colour photographs taken in Tunisia and at the Gaza Strip.

This exhibition, realised in collaboration with Fotohof e Magnum Photosis a tribute to his ability to fuse human sensitivity and professionalism, confirming the importance of his work in the history of photography.
