Temporary exhibition
Incipitojo
Luigi Mallé Municipal Museum - Dronero (CN)
From Wednesday 14 October 2026 to Sunday 31 January 2027
The innovative exhibition “Incipitojo” is coming to Piedmont as a unique journey through participatory art e cultural welfare, transforming the artistic heritage of the museums into a living resource of memory, report e social inclusion. The project stems from the collaboration between the national format devised by the photographer Lorenzo Scacchia and the accessibility practices promoted by the director Ivana Mulatero for the Luigi Mallé Municipal Museum by Dronerotogether with Daniela Grande for Cavassa House a Saluzzo.
Through a co-creation process carried out with the users of the’Alzheimer’s Café Association by Dronero and the young people from the Youth Centre by Saluzzo, the participants explored the collections, photographed evocative details and came up with original titles. This session gave rise to the covers of fictional books never written, bearing the fictitious mark HNK.
The exhibition of book covers is accompanied by a national literary competition a free initiative that invites visitors to turn the usual editorial process on its head by writing content for pages that have not yet been created. The initiative provides a practical response to the needs of the vulnerable people, offering leisure, an immersion in beauty and self-expression against isolation, demonstrating how the beauty of our cultural heritage can serve as a means of healing and a bridge between generations.
