The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum houses Enlightened Reflections, solo exhibition by Manuela Bedeschi, edited by Matteo Galbiatiwhich presents eighteen works at the neon able to transform the rooms of the house museum into spaces of sensitive experience. The installations, many of which unprecedented e site-specificestablish an intense dialogue between signs, words and lightmerging with the historical surroundings of the Bagatti Valsecchi brothers' home.
Each work fits into the museum itinerary with delicacy and strength, revealing new meanings through light, which becomes living matter and vehicle of reflection. Bedeschi's intervention is not only formal, but deeply conceptualHis glowing words invite us to thinking, watching and listeningturning the visit into a moment of pause and inner knowledge.
Particularly significant is the work RESPICE FINEMlocated on the museum terrace, inspired by a Latin inscription in the house. This installation, which will remain visible throughout 2026, becomes a poetic manifesto of the entire exhibition, opening up a reflection on the meaning of time, space and memory.
The works, often initially perceived as advertising letteringThey displace the gaze and trigger a process of reading and listening that restores depth to the artistic message. The exhibition develops harmoniously within the rooms of the museum, where light intertwines with historical collections, providing an experience in which the contemporary is grafted onto the past with respect and creativity.
