ROYAL CASTLE OF GOVONE - Govone (CN)
includedFrom Saturday 18 July 2026 to Sunday 23.08.2026
The exhibition Govone Art He continues his artistic journey by creating a dialogue between the precious historical heritage of the Royal Castle of Govone through the expressive languages of contemporary art. The star of this new solo exhibition is the Piedmontese artist Giulio Lucente , whose artistic practice has for years focused on the profound relationship between Man, Nature and Memory.
The exhibition presents a refined selection of works that offer visitors an intimately personal insight into the natural landscape. Elements such as trees, woods and vegetation they cease to be mere representative figures and become a genuine emotional experience and in a profound reflection on the passing of time. Influenced in his early days by the natural informality of Ennio Morlotti and subsequently by the expressive power of Anselm Kiefer, Giulio Lucente has managed to develop a wholly original stylistic voice. This is expressed through a textural use of colour and one highly evocative painting , where the creative process is fuelled by direct, everyday contact with nature.
The charming rooms of the Castle They thus become the setting for a harmonious dialogue between historical heritage e contemporary sensitivity. As the critic pointed out Valerio Miroglio in the catalogue Animula Vagans, the work of this Piedmontese artist takes the form of a journey of discovery that combines memory, myth and perception , confirming the castle’s role as a vibrant hub of cultural output.
