The exhibition The Garden of Delightshosted at the City Museums of Monzaoffers an original look at the work of Ugo La Pietraartist and theorist who has devoted his long career to the study of the relationship between individual and environment. The exhibition, curated by Simona Bartolena e Simona Cesanaoffers a selection of works ranging from drawings, acrylics on canvas, ceramics e tapestriesall sharing the central theme of the garden as a symbolic and real place.

The exhibition explores the idea of the garden as space of refuge, contemplation e sensory connectioncapable of restoring harmony between man and nature. La Pietra's works, also inspired by the recent volume of the same name, reflect a profound investigation into the urban green and on the interaction between architecture e naturewith a gaze that becomes almost meditative: a total immersion in a built but living landscape, capable of stimulating view, touch, hearing, olfaction and even taste.

The exhibition is part of the Park Festivalenriched by guided tours, family workshops e in-depth meetings. Particularly significant is the long relationship between Ugo La Pietra and the city of Monza, where the artist also taught and promoted numerous initiatives related to the decorative arts.
