The exhibition opens with a tribute to Dante Alighierisymbolic pilgrim of the Divine Comedy, and continues with historical accounts of the 19th century migrations and with works documenting current dramas in the Mediterranean. The exhibition then explores the yearning for the spiritual questwith figures such as Saint Obizio of Niardoand closes with a reflection on the sharing the journeypersonified in the figure of St James and in sculptures evocative of the paternal and spiritual presence.
