Temporary exhibition
Grazia Toderi. Teatro Terra
Castle of Miradolo - San Secondo di Pinerolo (TO)
From Saturday 10 October 2026 to Tuesday 8.12.2026
An immersive artistic and sensory experience conceived by the artist Grazia Toderi for the spaces of the Castle of Miradolo and edited by Roberto Galimberti. The exhibition route winds its way through the Historical Channel and the Manica Nuova, transforming the architecture of the historic residence into a grand visual and conceptual stage.
The artist’s video projections interact directly with the frescoes, the flooring, the doors and the times of the building, creating a constant dialogue between the moving image, the light and the physical structure of the space. The exhibition brings together a wide-ranging selection of works, including video installations, drawings, photographs e clay sculptures, revisiting the central themes of the research by Grazia Toderi: the perception of space, the relationship between earth and the cosmos, and the thrill of visual exploration.
The exhibition features historic works such as Soup of Eternity and Sudden Light, staged in the ancient Library, and the large floor-mounted video installation We Mark. Lights-Shadows (protractor), alongside the screening 222, inspired by the International Museum and Library of Music, Bologna and the compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Rich in imagery reminiscent of the literature of Italo Calvino e Orhan Pamuk, the exhibition invites visitors to explore a new perceptual dimension in which contemporary art, music and historic architecture blend harmoniously.
