From Sunday 15.06.2025 to Monday 15.12.2025

The exhibition Giuliana Cunéaz. Digital Wunderkammer represents a point of convergence between digital art, science e historical heritagehosted in the atmospheric surroundings of the MANLo of Vigevanowithin the Sforza Castle. The central installation, Matter Waves Unseenis a real contemporary chamber of wondersconsisting of a cabinet that holds 45 painted unbaked clay sculpturesaccompanied by 3D video animations showing the mysterious process of emersion and disappearance of objects from the nanoworld.

The artist Giuliana Cunéazpioneer of the new media artcombines in his work the sculptural dexterity at computer graphicsgiving rise to an expressive language that connects physical and virtual. The presence of natural elements such as a nest of vasaia wasp merges with the digital dimension, suggesting aambiguity between real and imaginary.

The dialogue between Matter Waves Unseen and the findings of the Road Collectionconsisting of glass, metal and ceramic objects from the Roman era, reinforces the link between contemporary art e archaeologycreating a synergy of great visual and conceptual impact.

The exhibition is curated by Piero Mezzabotta and was born from a collaboration between the Regional Directorate National Museums of Lombardy and the Milan National Museum of Digital Artwith the aim of promoting a cultural offer innovative and engaging.
