The exhibition pays tribute to Giordano Garutiamong the protagonists of contemporary Cremonese art, through a selection of works that tell an art intense, visionary and free.

Painter, restorer and tireless traveller, Garuti has travelled to distant places and cultures, bringing to his painting traces of experiences in Europe, Africa and South America. His art comes from the gesture, emotion and memoryranging from abstract and surrealled by thesubconscious.

His painting instinctive and refinedwith a constantly evolving style, reflects anpowerful life energy and one technical mastery honed over decades of work. In his canvases coexist rigour of sign and freedom of thought, the legacy of tradition and the instinct to travel. Garuti paints as one modern shamanhis brush moves on its own, guided by a inner vision which transforms the gesture in story.
