Ghisallo 20. The first twenty years of an endless story
CYCLING MUSEUM MADONNA DEL GHISALLO - Magreglio (CO)
includedFrom Saturday 18.04.2026 to Sunday 1.11.2026
The Madonna del Ghisallo Cycling Museum opens its 20th season with an exhibition project that fully interprets its spirit: a temporary collection of twenty very special bicycles, each symbol of an enterprise that marked the history of cycling. The curatorial idea sees these bicycles as real candles that are progressively lit to celebrate the milestone of the museum founded in 2006 at the behest of Fiorenzo Magni.
At the same time, the route recounts the first twenty years of the Museum through three exhibition halls rich in memorabilia and iconographic images. A journey that starts from the birth of the Ghisallo myth and spans two decades of encounters with the great samples and the Ambassador of this place, considered to be the home of cyclists from all over the world. Among the highlights on display are the Gios by Roger De Vlaeminck, dominator of the cobblestones at the Paris-Roubaix, and the Wilier Triestina aluminium of the 1997 belonging to the unforgettable Marco Pantani.
The exhibition ranges from classical to contemporary history, displaying the Specialised of icons such as Mario Cipollini, with the famous tiger livery, Vincenzo Nibali, protagonist of the comeback at the Giro d'Italia 2016, and the recent successes of Remco Evenepoel e Tadej Pogačar. Thanks to collaboration with prestigious companies such as Bianchi, Colnago e Pinarello, the exhibition takes the form of a dynamic narrative in continuous evolution at Magreglio, celebrating the deep connection between technique, memory and sporting myth.
