Forever Young: The Dorian Gray Syndrome

MEET Digital Culture Centre presents the group exhibition Forever Young: The Dorian Gray Syndrome. Edited by Maria Grazia Mattei e Clement Thibaultexposure is part of the Milan Longevity Summitfocused on the quest for longevity. Through works by 12 Digital Art Artists, the exhibition explores the use of the digital to create idealised representations of oneself, reflecting on the desire to eternal youth.

Divided into three sections, the exhibition addresses the beautification digital, the concept of immortality and the search for thebeyond human through technology. Interactive works allow visitors to experience digital transformations of their portraits and to immerse themselves in virtual environments.

The exhibition culminates with a work by Mauro Martino reflecting on the importance of mental youth. Forever Young: The Dorian Gray Syndrome invites critical reflection on the contemporary obsession with the eternal youthexploring its real-life implications.
