Produced in close collaboration with Bruno Munari® Archives, Munari Space and the publishing house Corraini Editions, the exhibition explores the work of the renowned master, highlighting his extraordinary and unique ability to transcend the language of’kinetic and programmed art to reinvent it in completely unexpected and innovative ways.
The exhibition takes on the challenge of bringing to light the’air, an essentially dynamic, intangible and elusive element, presenting a carefully curated selection of works that masterfully integrate the concepts of time, space e movement. Visitors are guided through a profound exploration of the mechanisms of sensory perception and the poetics of lightness that characterise the artist’s entire body of work.
The exhibition centres on an analysis of the operation Making the air visible, a famous project carried out in the city of Como as part of the event Campo Urbano. This historic event is superbly documented by the famous photographs by Ugo Mulas, which bear witness to the revolutionary spirit and the poetry of the artistic gesture. Perfectly integrated within the museum route at 4th floor Held at the palace, the exhibition offers an unmissable opportunity to explore one of the most original research projects of the’contemporary art and the design Italian.
