Emanuele Luzzati between Fairytale and Fantasy

The exhibition Emanuele Luzzati between Fairytale and Fantasy is a unique homage to the eclectic flair of Emanuele Luzzatiset up in the elegant halls of Palazzo Salmatoris in Cherasco. This exhibition traces the many techniques and areas in which the artist has made his mark: from ceramics to set design, from illustrated books to collage, through to theatre costumes and etching.

In the section dedicated to ceramics and sculpturevisitors will be able to admire works made of wood, clay and ceramics, including decorated plates, bas-reliefs and vases reinvented in a fantasy key. The tour continues with an extraordinary collection of theatrical scenography, collage-made costumes and original posters that tell the artist's theatrical soul.

Particular attention is paid to the book illustrations, where collage is combined with wax crayons, giving life to characters with expressive faces and lively clothes, a symbol of his innate creativity. The exhibition is completed by a series of etchings unique profile, cut out to represent the characters themselves.

The exhibition is not only a journey into Luzzati's artistic world, but also an invitation to reflect on the value of the cultural heritage as a tool for collective growth, passionately supported by the city of Cherasco.
