In Praise of Diversity

The exhibition In Praise of Diversity. A Journey through Italian Ecosystemshosted in the atmospheric Hall of the Great Mile at the Castle of Brescia, offers an immersive journey through the wonders of Italian biodiversity. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey of discovery through the extraordinary variety of life forms that inhabit our country, highlighting the complexity of natural balances and the interconnection between human, animal and environmental health, according to the principle of One Health.

Through an engaging layout and a visual and scientific narrative, the exhibition presents a powerful and timely overview of the Italian ecosystems, presented in their wealth and vulnerability. One section is entirely dedicated to terrestrial fauna, with materials from the collections of the Brescia Natural Science Museum, which contribute to making the experience even more complete.

The initiative is part of the festival programme. “One Earth”, which brings conferences, meetings, exhibitions and excursions to Brescia, emphasising the central role of environmental awareness in the contemporary cultural context. An urgent and passionate call to observe, understand and protect the extraordinary web of life that surrounds us.
