includedFrom Saturday 21.06.2025 to Sunday 31.08.2025
The exhibition ECOTRANCE by Alberto Tadiellopart of the 4th edition of the two-year project TraSecularpresents itself as a powerful installation site-specific within the Acqui Terme Archaeological Museum. The Veneto artist, among the most original voices of theItalian contemporary art, proposes a multimedia work inspired by the historical hot thermal spring of Acqui Terme, active since the time pre-Roman. The exhibition is structured as a sensory immersion between sounds, lightstechnological materials and symbolic suggestions, in a narrative that makes thewater not just a subject but a real narrative medium.
The work, which uses LED strobe balls, cables, USB memories and programming box, creates a hypnotic environment where one reflects on the concept of transformation, memory e territorial identity. The artistic intervention is intertwined with the archaeological history of the museum, dialoguing with the marble blocks of the ancient fountain from the 2nd-1st century B.C., today preserved in the museum building.
Complementing the exhibition is a catalogue/artist bookedited by Tadiello himself and published by The Orioffers an in-depth reading of the work, enriched by a dialogue with Francesca Togni and numerous quotations taken from Calvino, Cavarero, Barthes, Beckett and other protagonists of contemporary thought and aesthetics. ECOTRANCE is part of the TraSecular as a stage in an ongoing reflection on the link between past and presentoffering an unprecedented vision of art as a living, dialogic form.
