The exhibition Dialogues. Longoni, Balla, Mirò and other masters from the Museo del Territorio Biellese proposes an unprecedented blending archaeology and artIt compares two souls of the rich collection of the Museo del Territorio Biellese, currently closed for renovation. The exhibition project stems from the will of the Banca Patrimoni Sella & C.in collaboration with the Municipality of Biellato keep the link with the city alive by enhancing its cultural heritage. Set up in the evocative spaces of the Palazzone of Biellathe exhibition brings into dialogue archaeological finds e masterpieces of painting from the 17th to the 20th centurygenerating thematic, stylistic and symbolic references.

The route opens with a selection of artefacts from local necropolisessuch as Cerrione and Biella, testifying to the Celtic-Roman civilisation of the territory. These exhibits dialogue with paintings by masters such as Giambattista Crosato, the brothers Galliari, Antonio Fontanesi, Lorenzo Delleani e Marco Calderiniup to 20th century art with Emilio Longoni, Giacomo Balla, Joan Miró, Paul Klee, Lucio Fontana, Max Ernst, René Magritte e Marc Chagall.

The exhibition is not just an exhibition but a real cross-cultural experienceIt crosses epochs, materials and languages. A project that reflects the cultural vocation of the Palazzone, a historic building that today once again becomes a living space for art and knowledge.
