Live in Milan
Palazzo Morando | Costume Fashion Image - Milan (MI)
includedFrom Friday 9 October 2026 to Sunday 31 January 2027
The exhibition is a true declaration of love for the city and its deep-rooted relationship with live music. Through a journey spanning over seventy years of history, the exhibition traces the evolution of Milan from an industrial capital to a cultural hub and a sounding board for major international musical trends. This visual journey brings together around a hundred artful photographs and valuable previously unpublished material from major historical archives, evoking memorable concerts, iconic figures and the unique atmosphere of live performances.
From cellars to underground clubs, from historic theatres to major industrial conversions and the stadiums that have shaped the history of contemporary music, this visual narrative reveals the soul of a city that always offers a warm and knowledgeable audience. Curated by Matteo Bordone e Roberto Mutti, and promoted as part of a project under an agreement signed Vertigo Syndrome, the exhibition enriches the visual narrative with sound installations and archive footage that guide visitors through anecdotes, behind-the-scenes stories and collective memories. An immersive journey that will delight both those who experienced those legendary concerts first-hand and those who wish to understand how music has shaped the social and urban identity of the Lombard capital.
