The Sale Chiablese of the Royal Museums of Turin host the exhibition From Botticelli to Mucha. Beauty, Nature, Seductiona fascinating journey that explores the theme of beauty and seduction through myth, nature and the feminine universe.
With over 100 works of paintings, drawings, sculptures and art objects from the Royal Museums, from Uffizi Galleries and important Italian institutions, the exhibition spans the centuries: from Roman statues and bas-reliefs to Renaissance masterpieces by Botticelli e Lorenzo di Credito the Art Nouveau of Alphonse Mucha.
Among the masterpieces on display are the Venus by Botticelli of the Sabauda Gallery and the Lady with a Unicorn by Luca Longhi. The route is enriched with focuses on extraordinary female figures such as the Countess of Castiglione and the princesses of Savoy House.
For the first time, the results of the diagnostic investigations conducted on Botticelli's Venus, revealing its hidden secrets.
Guest of Honour is the autograph drawing of Leonardo da Vinci, Maiden's facedisplayed in the new Leonardo Space.
