The solo exhibition of Angela Sepe Novara represents a refined encounter between music, painting and poetryset up in the halls of the House of the Green Count a Rivoli (Turin). The title Colours between heaven and earth, the four atmospheric seasons, inspired by Vivaldi and beyond immediately recalls the sound universe of The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldibut the artist goes further, transforming the musical inspiration into a broader and more intimate visual narrative.
The works, dense with colour and light, they shape an emotional journey through the cycle of the seasons, not only in the natural landscape, but also in the human inner experience. Each canvas becomes a reflection on the time, memory and changeelements that come together in a pictorial language with a strong emotional impact.
The exhibition, which was originally presented in 2013 at the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences in Turin with a critical contribution by Prof. Fiorenzo Alfieri, has won important international recognition: in 2018 it was selected to represent Italy at the San Francisco Italian American Museumunder the auspices of the Italian Consulate and the Italian Cultural Institute. During the inauguration, the poetry collection The Seasons of Time (Genesi Editrice), which combines text and images in a lyrical and artistic marriage.
Angela Sepe Novara, from Turin, boasts numerous editorial and artistic collaborations, such as the 34 illustrations dedicated to Piedmontese cultural figures published in The Republic.
