The exhibition, on the occasion of the 300 years of the Museum of Antiquitiesinvites you on a journey of more than 2000 years through the history and myth of Cleopatra. The narrative develops between the analysis historical-archaeological of the figure of Cleopatra and the exploration of the myth, illustrating the fascination that this extraordinary queen has aroused over the centuries.

The sections of the exhibition revolve around the head-portrait of Cleopatra housed in the Museum of Antiquities, a masterpiece that concentrates history and legend. Archaeological artefacts e antique sculptures intertwine with pictorial works, graphics e film contributions that celebrated the famous Egyptian ruler, creating a dialogue between past and present. The exhibition thus recounts Cleopatra as woman, queen and mythinterweaving history and contemporaneity in an evocative journey that is still deeply relevant today.
