Temporary exhibition

Cities

Triennale Milan - Milan (MI)

included
From Tuesday 11.11.2025 to Tuesday 6.01.2026

For centuries, cities are spaces of possibility, places where distances are shortened e imbalances are reduced thanks to the dialogue and to theinteraction between diversities.
Today, however, they also represent the contexts in which inequalities grow most rapidly and increasingly so.

What urban planning and architecture can do for restoring a balance between inhabitants, cities and opportunities?

The exhibition is presented as an atlas of places, themes and projects from the inhabited lands around the planet, collected in an imaginary geography which aims to propose an alternative development idea to the traditional one.

Thirty-five site-specific installationsmade by authors of over thirty nationalities, make up a choral reflection on new dialectic between wealth and poverty, society and community, ecologies and cities - and on the astonishing shapes in which these tensions manifest themselves today in the territories inhabited by our species.
