Squall of water in the sky

Squall of water in the sky is a deep and sensory reflection on the theme ofwaterproposed through the works of 25 contemporary artists. Edited by Simona Bartolena and set in the atmospheric House of the Water Keeper of Vaprio d'Adda, the exhibition is inspired by a poetic verse by Erri De Luca which evokes the voice of God as the 'roar of waters in the heavens'. The exhibition route thus becomes a veritable synaesthetic experiencewhere each work dialogues with the environment and with the very flow of the river that runs past the venue.

The exhibition explores the symbolic, emotional and artistic value of water, presenting it as changeable element, indomitableyet intimate and everyday. Through different techniques and languages, the artists render personal visions and fragments of thought, offering a mosaic of interpretations that stimulate emotions and reflections. Each work is accompanied by explanatory captions, designed to make the experience accessible also to a non-specialist audience.

With new exhibition systems designed to enhance historical environments, this exhibition inaugurates a cycle dedicated to the artistic and cultural exploration of water as a universal and primordial element.
