Ambrosian Art Gallery - Milan (MI)
includedFrom Friday 19.09.2025 to Tuesday 14.10.2025
The exhibition Are you in love? No I'm in Milan marks a major event in the Milanese cultural scene. Peter Terzini, an artist with an immediately recognisable stylistic signature, proposes an exhibition that combines unpublished and historical worksoffering visitors a journey into the creative and pulsating heart of the city of Milan.
Inside the atmospheric Roman Forum Hall of Venerable Ambrosian Library - institution that boasts the distinction of being the first library open to the public in Europe and the oldest museum in the city - the artist stages a dialogue between words, neon, mirrors and works on paperin which written language becomes the absolute protagonist.
Alongside the incisive phrases that made Terzini famous, the visitor encounters iconic figurative elementsauthentic symbols of Milan and the Ambrosiana itself: from the Caravaggio's Basket of Fruit at Madonninareinterpreted as tributes that interweave memory and contemporaneity. The exhibition thus becomes a visual and conceptual laboratory that confronts classical iconography and pop-contemporary languagestimulating a reflection on the relationship between past and present.
The exhibition, curated (not) by Antonello Grimaldi and Pietro Terziniinvites the public to discover Milan in a new guise, made up of contrasts, suggestions and visual dialogues, in a journey that reflects the city's multifaceted and cosmopolitan soul.
