His style is distinguished by its adherence to the American documentary traditionwith a personal look that combines visual poetry, subtle irony and a deep concern for the human condition.
This exhibition is the first Italian retrospective since 1984 dedicated to the photographer, testifying to the historical and artistic importance of an author who was able to transform the chronicle into collective icon.
