At Work

Via photographs, documents, video, texts, charts e works of art, the exhibition organised by Communications Project in collaboration with Brochure tackles the major issues of the’employment, of the wages, of the contractsof the safety and the health, establishing a direct link between the a reminder of past struggles with the complex challenges of the present. The exhibition takes an in-depth look at the evolution of safeguards and the working conditions, starting with the historical events of the large factories of the 1970s in order to arrive at new forms of precariousness and of exploitation.

This reflection extends to the new paradigms of new economy, to the tyranny of the algorithms, to the historic battles of the farm labourers, right up to the crisis of health sector and the most recent protests led by the trade union. The visual selection features images by historical authors e contemporary photographers, amongst which the following stand out Paola Agosti, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Lucio Cavicchioni, Francesco Cito, Dino Fracchia, Fausto Giaccone, Silvestre Loconsolo, Uliano Lucas, Fernando Moleres, Carlo Orsi, Alberto Roveri, Elio Colavolpe, Claudia Corrent, Alessandro Digaetano, Massimo Di Nonno, Michele Lapini, André Lihon, Diambra Mariani, Francesco Merlini, Eros Mauroner, Samuele Pellecchia, Alexey Pivovarov e Massimo Sciacca. The Milan exhibition is enhanced by the video testimonials from riders sourced internationally, the delicate sculptures signed by the artist Winfried Loeschburg and the impressive collective installation “These deaths are not white”, created specifically to pay tribute to the victims of the accidents at work.
