Between Art and Landscape

In the name of memory and art, the Villa reopens its most intimate pages, inviting the public to a double date that weaves together history, landscape and familiar gazes. Two days to explore what remains and what still lives: the portraits that preserve the face of an era and the paths that guard the traces of those who walked them before us.

VIEWS AND PORTRAITS OF THE BISI FAMILY IN THE COLLECTIONS OF THE COUNTS VALPERGA AT MASINO CASTLE

At the heart of the exhibition Family portrait. The Bisi, a dynasty of artists in romantic Lombardy between Manzoni, Hayez and Princess Belgiojoso, a special guided tour in cooperation with FAI - Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano.
FAI representatives will accompany visitors to discover the works on display, with a special focus on the paintings and drawings on temporary loan from the Masino Park and Castle in Caravino (Turin).

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF PRINCESS CARLOTTA

23 November 2025 - 10.30 a.m.

We will walk among historical paths and monumental trees, rediscovering the landscape of the Villa like a diary to be leafed through.
Guided by those who know the park and live it, we will walk along a trail recovered thanks to the PNRR project.

A symbolic path, enriched by a work by Maria Donpè: a tribute to all women forced to give up their dreams and dedicated in particular to the young Princess Charlotte of Prussia, owner of the Villa, who died prematurely at the age of just 23.
