Halloween Special for Children

Did you know that, for the ancient Egyptians, amulets were not simply pieces of jewellery, but genuine magical shields? Protecting the body, warding off danger and preparing for the journey to the afterlife were essential steps for survival in the afterlife.

Amidst mummies, sarcophagi, scarabs and mysterious deities, we’ll explore the most fascinating beliefs and rituals of ancient Egypt. During the creative workshop, each participant will make their own magical amulet, ready to protect them on the scariest night of the year!

🎃 How to participate: To really get into the Halloween spirit, young visitors (and everyone else!) are welcome to come in fancy dress: mummies, pharaohs, Egyptian gods and monsters of all kinds are all welcome.

• Meeting: Entrance to the Ancient Egypt Gallery (Sforzesco Castle, Milan)
• Cost: €10 per athlete/child + admission ticket to the Sforzesco Castle Museums.
