Celtic New Year's Eve at the Royal Museums
On 31 October 2025, the Royal Museums of Turin offer Samonios: the true story of Halloween, an evening event that concludes the review Royal Summer 2025.
A journey to the origins of the Halloween holiday to rediscover the ancient Celtic celebration that marked the end of the year and the beginning of the new one.
Visits, re-enactments and tastings
From 7.45 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. (last entry at 22.45) the public can participate in a extraordinary visit at the Museum of Antiquities - Sections Archaeology Turin e Archaeological Gallery - and the exhibition Living on water.
The route will be animated by historical re-enactors e performance in the Royal Gardens, for an immersion in the traditions and rituals of the Celtic world.
The evening also includes a tasting by the Master Brewer of the Turin Brewery, included in the special ticket.
At 22.30, in the Royal Gardens, the propitiatory rite of lighting a fire will conclude the evening, celebrating the Celtic New Year with dancing and music.
Event realised in cooperation with Terra Taurina, Okelum e Turin Brewery.
