Beyond the brick

This themed tour is dedicated to design, art and architecture. ’Oltre il Mattone’ is, in fact, an exhibition that explores some of the lines of research pursued by Cesario Carena into clay and kiln-fired materials from the late 1970s to the present day, through an analysis of his works on display at Munlab.
Exploring these works offers insights into engaging with clay as a material and with Munlab’s local area: the Poirino Plateau and the Chieri hills. A creative workshop is planned as part of the initiative.
