Mun-Light Sonata: The New Music Review at Munlab

Five appointments among nature, flavours and author's notes: from 26 April to 25 October 2026

The Munlab Clay Ecomuseum of Cambiano presents Mun-Light Sonata, an unprecedented musical review that will turn Sunday afternoons into a complete sensory experience. Five events, from April to October, designed to bring the industrial archaeology of the former furnace into dialogue with sounds ranging from classical to pop, from jazz to film soundtracks.

An experience for the senses

Each date of the review offers a three-part itinerary:

• 15:45 | Nature: Guided walk in the renaturated quarry.
• 17:00 | Taste: Tasting by Turnip Baskets (Cooperativa Sociale Esserci Agricola)
• 18:30 | Music: Live concert amidst the striking architecture of the museum.

The Concert Programme

1. 26 April - 14 Elements: A musical journey from classics to rock with the Glimmer All Stars
2. 24 May - Volunteered: The history of Jazz told in 7 tracks from the Gabriele Cappello 4tet
3. 21 June - Bow to The Air: The elegant atmospheres of court music with the Echo Quartet
4. 27 September - West Side Stories: Suggestions and musical tales from overseas with the Long Story Short
5. 25 October - Japan 2D Dreams: A tribute to the soundtracks of Studio Ghibli with the’ A-Name Quartet

Information and Ticketing

The event is open to an audience of all ages. The cost of participation is included in the entrance fee to the Ecomuseum:

• Whole: 10 euro
• Reduced: 8 euros (teachers, over 65s, persons with disabilities and residents of Cambiano)
• Free of charge: Museum Pass holders, +TECA card, children under 11 and accredited journalists
• Reservations: You can book online at munlabtorino.it or at the Munlab office on Wednesdays (2-5 p.m.)
