Living Matter

The Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art is hosting a new presentation of its permanent collection, conceived as a living, constantly evolving entity. This exhibition invites the public to discover or rediscover the revolutionary power of Arte Povera, the movement that emerged in Turin in the late 1960s and changed the history of art worldwide forever.

Set against the backdrop of the historic rooms of the Savoy castle and its contemporary spaces, the works of pioneers such as Michelangelo Pistoletto, Giovanni Anselmo, Giulio Paolini, Gilberto Zorio and Marisa Merz engage in a dialogue with the architecture.
